Vintage Neoclassic Revival Cherub Bust Sculpture in hand forged Metal and Stone Cast. Each feather and rose is meticulously etched and turned, the stone bust pays special attention to detail around the ringlets of hair. This exceptional piece is well made, as heavy as it it beautiful. The patina finish on the metal base and wings lends itself to a ancient time, while the softness the artist was able to achieve throw stones leaves a sense of calmness through its presence. Thought to be French, possibly early 1990’s.
