This antique cast and cold-painted metal plaque was done by the renowned Bradley & Hubbard of the United States in approximately 1920 in an American Colonial style. The plaque is done in a cast metal with a very elaborate frame which has been given a brass patination. The central panel is done in relief and depicts an early rustic Colonial tavern vignette with several men seated and standing together, conversing with two woman sitting together across the room. The back is done with a nicely cast easel stand and a chain to allow the plaque to be either displayed as wall decoration or freestanding on a table. The plaque is clearly signed on the back with a “B” and inverted “H” in capital letters for Bradley & Hubbard, and a model number.
