Unique globe design where the bottom portion of the glass is the traditional milk glass color and the top part is a camphor glass color which was designed to allow more light to escape the globe and reflect off the ceiling. This two tone color in the glass was accomplished by sandwiching the two different colors of glass together when they were blown into the mold. This technique is called “chased” and affords a wonderful contrast of light when lit.
On the large size with the globe 14 inches across and 9 inches tall.
Overall drop as shown: 21 inches. Shown on a new nickel plated fitter.
Priced for the pair.
Perfect for today’s modern kitchen and baths where you do not want to see the glare of the light bulb.
