Contemporary Design
This cabinet was inspired by the famous account of Marco Polo’s travels. Entitled Il Milione, it tells the story of Venice’s encounter with the East, whose cultural influences have had enormous influence in architecture, applied arts and manufacturing. The fine entanglement of weave and warp is evoked by this collection of cabinets. The exterior is composed of wooden slats, fitted with brass details.
