Priced and sold by the pair.
Heavy, quality made solid brass sconces which date to pre 1920. Wonderful original finish which has taken on that aged patina of almost a warm golden glow.
Very meticulous detailing throughout, especially telling in the drape pattern between the arms, the leaves and flowers up the back and scrolled arms. The casting details are all sharp.
Note the absence of a mounting nut. There were produced before the standardization of mounting with a mounting bar, nipple, and nut. This is what dates these to pre 1920.
With a projection of only 4″ they would be ADA compliant.
