This is really something very special. A one-off model car, made by a skilled craftsman around the 1940s. Very detailed and refined, with lots of fantastic details – like all the handles and pipes on and underneath the car. Lifelike, very true to the original and exclusive Simplex from 1909. Made out of copper and brass, the material gained a wonderful patina over time, with hints of verdigris at various places.
Large size and therefore a true conversation piece on your desk, sideboard or table. It is signed with – presumably – the name of the maker.
At DEZAAK DELUXE we try to find items that are out of the ordinary. With experience over 40 years, we are known for our singular eye and combining the new and the old. We have a few thousand items in stock in our beautiful showroom in a reclaimed factory building out of the 1930s.
