1970s Vintage Rustic Chrome & Vinyl Swiveling Bar Stools – a Pair

This pair of stools has been partially restored as they were in need of some help when we first came across them. The chrome was heavily tarnished, the seats were dirty, and they were held together with random flathead, philips and hex head bolts secured with regular nuts and wingnuts. They were both completely disassembled and the chrome was treated with rust remover and some fine sand paper, thus improving the appearance greatly. They then received multiple layers of clear coat to keep them at the state they are. They were then put back together with new bolts and nuts. The chrome pieces still show their age. That is where the “Rustic” in the title comes in. Fortunately the Vinyl was in very good condition, so the seats only needed cleaning up, which took some doing. There is slight separation at the seam of one, and the other has a few tiny pinprick like holes on the side, otherwise they are good. The seats swivel as they should with no grinding of the bearings. These stools are heavy and solidly built with years left to give. Please see the pictures for further details.

*** There is a possibility that one of the seats will be removed for shipping so that they take up less room. They are attached with 4 wood screws, so reassembly will be quick and easy.
