Antique Oak Double-Sided File or Parts Cabinet on Casters<\/p>\n

A truly spectacular piece! This rare and unusual antique oak file\/parts cabinet has drawers on BOTH sides. These pieces are hard to find, and this one has been restored back to mint condition. <\/p>\n

The solid and sturdy cabinet boasts 144 total drawers–72 per side. The upper 24 drawers on each side are smaller (5.5W x 2.5H x 9D). The remaining lower drawers are taller (5.5W x 4.5H x 9D). Inside each drawer, there is a number impressed in the wood. The front of each drawer has a brass plate, which is also numbered, and a brass holder for identification of contents. All original hardware is intact and in perfect condition. <\/p>\n

The cabinet has been cleaned, restored and waxed, and the brass hardware hand-polished. The cabinet is mounted on four rubber casters, which allows this substantial piece to be easily moved.<\/p>\n

This unusual piece provides a great deal of storage, but would also work well to partition a room. <\/p>\n
