Beautiful rarity, Jose Marmolejos for Tane of Mexico City. Circa 1965.
Most likely a baptismal cup.
Beautifully crafted, with four arches, under two of which stand girls with braided hair, a basket, and one
rolled up blanket or mat for a picnic.
The young men wear traditional hats and each have a guitar slung over their shoulder.
I think the facial features, especially of the young women, are beautifully done!
