Southern New England Chippendale cherry drop-leaf table, probably from Connecticut, circa 1770, having a rectangular top with mid length drop leaves, raised on square chamfered legs braced by carved and pierced X-stretchers. The table remains in very fine condition with a warm cherry red color and perfect smooth patina. A very stylish table in a convenient size with pleasing proportions.
