Admirable handcrafted side chair from the 1950s. This chair features a combination of diverse shapes that create a wonderful unique appearance. The constructive parts like legs and bars of the backrest are slightly tapered on top and on the bottom. The vivid likes that are created contrast with the decorative angular ends or the seat. Wonderful feature is the woven seat. Thin leather straps create a grid pattern that provides great comfort. As little know is about the background of the chair, what is clear is the passion for materials and shapes in combination with an eye for proportion.
Kindly be aware that this piece is in good, used condition and shows an old repair on the backrest.
