American Southern Mahogany plantation desk with a molded edge hinged top, upper case with a fall front revealing a leather writing surface with a fitted interior, pigeon holes, and three lower drawers with brass knobs. Lower case consist of a single rectangular drawer with original wooden knobs, interior locking mechanism with key, and resting on turned bulbous reeded legs with the original brass ball cup casters. Secondary wood consist of white pine and tulip poplar. Early 19th century.
