American Chippendale figured walnut chest of drawers with a carved molded edge top, flanking fluted carved quarter columns, four graduated dove tailed drawers with the original brasses, and terminating on the original molded edge ogee bracket feet. Philadelphia, Mid 18th Century. Secondary wood consists of poplar throughout. Top over hangs for chair rail and the chest retains the original poplar back boards. Excellent condition. 40 Wide at top and 40.5 Wide at base.
