1980s Pair or Postmodern Steelcase Chrome Armchairs by Warren Snodgrass

Pair of armchairs in great shape by Steelcase of Grand Rapids, MI. Both have labels on the bottom, dated 1986. Sturdy steel frames with a polished chrome finish. Top quality craftsmanship, classic design by Warren Snodgrass in the original upholstery which still looks quite nice. Excellent condition, saw little use. NO dents, no cracks, no breaks, no repairs, no loose joints, no wobble. Ready to place in your home, chrome and upholstery are both good. Chairs are in square, sit well with soft foam. Typical, light surface scratches, minor tarnishing, some expected foot scuffs but still, the finish is quite nice overall, no corrosion or heavy pitting to show; no polishing was done. Upholstery has the lightest signs of age only, a few small and faint spots or stains, some very minor fraying. Free of rips, holes, tears, fading, water damage, odors etc. All eight plastic feet or glides are present on the bottom. Under the seat, there was black lining material under the plastic seat, that material simply crumbled and fell away but the tags remain stapled. Approximately 31.75″ tall, 23″ wide, 23″ deep. Seat is 18″ high, 20″ wide and 18″ deep overall. Arms are 25″ high.
