– Stunning baroque Swedish painted bureau bookcase circa 1780
– Comprising of 2 parts
– Top section has a beautiful deep scrolling cornice
– Below which the double doors open to 3 shelves
– Bottom section has a moulded bureau front
– Fall opens to reveal a fitted interior painted in slate black
– Central tabernacle flanked either side by a pullout drawer and a bank of 3 drawers
– Below the fall are 4 shaped front drawers with later hardware
– Standing on block feet with further carving
