A rare black ‘Nichols & Stone’ University of Cambridge Windsor Armchair with Gold Detailing and Beautifully Worn Arms and Leg Struts, circa 1950s.
The chair is untouched, in original paint finish and traditionally only offered for sale to alumni.
The Armchair was crafted in the USA of northern hardwood, finished in black with the University of Cambridge crest on the backrest and makers mark to the underside.
The chair is in good vintage condition with only age related marks and scuffs to the legs and frame and a lovely worn patina on the armrests (as shown in pictures).
