American studio craft movement post modern cabinet on stand. The well figured curly maple arch top cabinet with curved bottom is attached to an elongated tapered four leg stand. Front door of cabinet w/ a protruding vertebrae bone knob at center and finely machined brass hinges swings out to reveal an interior w/ two fixed solid wood shelves and a three open compartments. Exceptionally beautiful hand crafted artisan work from the School For American Craftsmen at The Rochester Institute of Technology, Circa 1990. Cabinet measures 23″ h x 17″ w x 15 1/2 ” d. Top of base top of legs measure 40″ h x 18 1/2″ w x 16″ d. Full measurements are 61″ h x 18 1/2″ w x 16″ d. Cabinet is attached to base with six recessed screws at underside.
