Vintage Design
This set of four Polish chairs in solid wood and plywood were produced by Radomska Fabryka Mebli Giętych in the 1960s who produced for Thonet before World War II. After the war, this factory in Radomsko passed into Polish hands but produced the same furniture as before the war on the same machines but did not use the ‘Thonet’ trademark. These pieces were exported to most of the Eastern block countries and to the West, with this set going to West Germany.
