Gaetano Borsani, established furniture manufacturer in his “Atelier di Varedo”. It is in this study that 16-year-old son Osvaldo receives his first training. At that time is the architect Maggioni who designs for the Atelier by Gaetano Borsani. Maggioni’s projects come from Vienna, the city from which the Jugendstil arrives.
