Contemporary Design
Sedici is a solid wood sideboard with an extremely systematical shape. All visible parts are assembled with 45-degree cuts so that the outer edges appear as simple, thin lines. The doors conceal their thickness with the same logic, and its dynamism is reflected in the texture that surrounds it. Geometric shapes are extruded at different heights and from the front, they run along the sides without interruption. The veins play the same role, passing from one door to another without detachments, continuing on the sides of the sideboard. The Sedici has no handles, just press the front at any point and the push-and-pull mechanism will open up the door. The sideboard is made to order but the prototype is also available, if interested.
